    The Propeller Spinner Bf-109G/K

    For 1/32 Hasegawa Bf-109 G (-2/-4/-6/-14) , Bf-109 G-10, G-14AS & Bf-109 K-4 kits

Probably the most accurate miniature of this important late Bf-109’s detail. Based on inventory drawings and dozens, if not hundreds of historic and contemporary photos. Work of passion (some would say: obsession) of one of our staff member. The public secret is that this assembly is often distorted on most scale plans and plastic kits. In our case main body and details are made with maximum care. Characteristic tear-drop shaped cutouts for propeller and flanged spinner tip are carefully rendered. Subtle rivet pattern and data plate haven’t been overlooked. Of course, the body of our spinner is hollow, like in injected kits.

Smart design of pattern model and original casting technology minimizes working effort of modeler to put together whole assembly. You will only have to sand-off thin casting plug on spinner’s backplate, cut off prop hub elements and blast tube from their casting blocks. Required cleaning up of prop cutouts is also minimal.

Because of it’s design You will need no special jigs or tools to assemble the spinner, as it is common with one-piece solid designs. The 2mm channel for spinner shaft (not included –use brass or plastic tube/ rod) is pre-drilled. Also prop hub members are hollow, to fit original Hasegawa Bf-109 airscrew blades. Precise designed backplate makes accurate alignment of propeller an easy task. The blast tube is made as separate detail so can be adjusted depending on example of ‘109 you choose. Please check your own detail reference. Late 109’s differed from each other in this respect. And at the end: our spinner has dimensions that fit to Hasegawa kits properly. It is not always a rule in resin accessories world…

The spinner diameter is c.a. 23,6mm, so feel free if you know that it will fit to other kit.

No original kit parts were used during creation of pattern model.
